You are such a pure little boy

You dream of saving the world

As you peer out through your curtains of white

You hear stories of people with problems

You have no idea so you want to help

There’s a whole world full of blue

There’s guns and people full of fears

Sad little girls with so many tears

Don’t stumble and fall little boy

Don’t get tangled and lost in the dark

Shadows can be deceiving little boy

And leave you to die in the night



Little boy why do you cry

These people want to die

They hurt you ‘cause they hurt inside

All they really want to do is hide

Demons take over and show their power

Their people only wish to cower



Little boy you don’t have experience

They’ll trample you in this life

You can’t relate, you can’t help

You have the heart but not the mind

So run for home little boy, run away



Little boy, you’re so far from home

This world can quickly leave you on your own

Go back to your curtains of white

Leave these problems out of sight

Hidden away from your sheltered eyes

Return now to your protective world of lies.
